Many thanks to artist Majken Ryherd for creating the mosaics on this planter, which depict the Space Needle with 1960s-style fireworks. The theme of fireworks acknowledges the role of the Hitt’s Fireworks Company in our area’s history. This planter is located on the west side of Rainier Ave S, just north of the intersection with S Orcas St.
