Many thanks to artist June Chang for creating the mosaics on this planter, which depict fireworks lighting up the sky over the neighborhood. The theme of fireworks acknowledges the role of the Hitt’s Fireworks Company in our area’s history. This planter is located on the east side of Rainier Ave S, just south of the intersection with S Orcas St near Habesha Cafe.
