Many thanks to artist Susan Lauzac for creating the mosaics on this planter, which depict cannon-style fireworks with a heart. The theme of fireworks acknowledges the role of the Hitt’s Fireworks Company in our area’s history. This planter is located on the east side of Rainier Ave S, just north of the intersection with S Orcas St near the Flour Box.
