Many thanks to artist Kathi Bulfin for creating the mosaics on this planter, which depict plant-like red and green fireworks. The theme of fireworks acknowledges the role of the Hitt’s Fireworks Company in our area’s history. This planter is located on the east side of Rainier Ave S, just south of the intersection with S Orcas St near the Al Karim Islamic Center.
