Many thanks to artists Adama James and Dina Joissaint for creating the mosaics on this planter, which are a rendition of a Hitt’s Fireworks Company poster. The theme of fireworks acknowledges the role of the Hitt’s Fireworks Company in our area’s history. This planter is located on the west side of Rainier Ave S, just north of S Lucile St and adjacent to the “Wit and Wisdom” statue.
